New Faces at the Community Center and Assistance Office

Welcome to Bethany Marx, New Program Manager!

The Town of Hinsdale Board of Selectmen is pleased to welcome Bethany Marx as our new Program Manager.

Bethany brings with her deep roots in the region and a strong commitment to community engagement. She has previously served on the Brattleboro Parks and Recreation Board, worked as a Site Director in the Y-ASPIRE After-School Program at Academy School in Brattleboro, is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for New England Youth Theatre, is the Creator and Organizer of the Kids Craft Market of Southern VT, and has volunteered in numerous capacities in the area. 

Known for her enthusiasm and creativity, Bethany is a passionate advocate for providing inclusive activities for all age groups. Since joining our team, she has already launched a fiber arts group, introduced art classes, hosted adult and teen paint nights, and continued the well-loved events and programs at the Hinsdale Community Center.

Bethany is a wonderful addition to the Hinsdale family, and we are excited to work with her as she brings fresh ideas and energy to our community programs.

Welcome to Kristie Dube, New Assistant Program Manager / Welfare Director

The Town of Hinsdale Board of Selectmen is pleased to welcome Kristie Dube as our new Assistant Program Manager and Welfare Director.

Kristie lives in Hinsdale with her family and brings with her a strong passion for increasing community engagement. She previously worked with the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce, collaborating closely with the Chair to strengthen connections across the Monadnock Region. Kristie is a strong advocate for building relationships between local businesses and the community.

In addition to her professional background, Kristie is known for her talent in the kitchen — she's a skilled baker who creates edible masterpieces for local events. Her creativity, intelligence, and warm personality make her a natural fit for working with the public.

Since stepping into her role, Kristie has energetically embraced her responsibilities as Welfare Director, already working closely with residents to find new ways to support community needs. She also looks forward to bringing people together through shared activities, including learning the art of baking.

Kristie is a fantastic addition to the Hinsdale family, and we are thrilled to have her on board. Her experience, passion, and enthusiasm are sure to make a lasting impact on our town.
