Full-Time Transfer Station

Welcome to the newly improved Transfer Station starting July 1st 2024!

When you arrive, you will have two options. If you have items for recycling, just turn right and proceed to the back of the Transfer Station. Recycling is free of charge, which is great news! If you don't have any recycling, don't worry. Just drive over to the scale on the left, where an attendant will weigh your waste and direct you to the appropriate disposal area. Once you have disposed of your waste, head back to the scale to pay the attendant. A dump sticker will still be required for a $5.00 fee. If you have both trash and recycling, it is recommended to head to the recycling area first to avoid being charged for its weight. Remember, recycling is still free! For trash (household and demo trash - NO HAZARDS), the cost is a reasonable $2.50 per 20 pounds. Please note that blue bags will no longer be used, and regular trash bags will be accepted. However, if you still have blue bags they will be honored for 6 months after July 1st. Also, please note that charges for the following items will continue to apply: specialty items such as tires, car rims, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, appliances, demo material, propane tanks, mattresses, box springs, sofas, chairs, computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, TV's, microwaves, etc. The fees for these items can be viewed HERE.
