Originally built in 1953, the current Hinsdale Fire Department’s station housed three vehicles for our firefighters who were handling a mere 17 calls per year. In 2018, our firefighters (who are on-call 24/7) responded to 455 calls utilizing nine vehicles of various sizes and designs.

The Hinsdale Fire Dept and the New Hampshire Forests and Lands Division is pleased to offer citizens the option to purchase open burning permits online! Through our easy online process you will be able to purchase an open burning permit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing permits are being issued at the time. There is a $3.00 charge for this option to help maintain the web page. To obtain a permit online click here.
