The Town of Hinsdale invites you to submit a bid on the supply of #2 fuel oil for the 2024-2025 winter season.  The approximate consumption for each location is as follows:

In addition, we require the following for 100 gallons drop deliveries at various locations:

#2 Fuel Oil                                                                    1,000 gallons

Kerosene (winter mix)                                                 1,000 gallons

In addition, subject to approval by the Hinsdale School District:

Hinsdale High School/Hinsdale Elementary School  52,000 gallons

If you choose to submit a bid, please bid on the basis of a pre-payment price.  Please state the total price along with the price per gallon.

Request for Proposal: Community Center Remodel and Demolition of 54 Canal Street

GENERAL INFORMATION: Community Center Remodel

The Town of Hinsdale, New Hampshire is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to remodel the interior and exterior of the Community Center.

PROPOSAL DEADLINE

Proposals shall be mailed or delivered to the Hinsdale Town Hall so that it is received no later than 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2024.

Proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Hinsdale Town Hall at the above address, bearing the name of the proposer on the outside, and clearly captioned "Proposal for Community Center”.

The Town of Hinsdale reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals without further discussion of the proposals submitted.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Coordinate with local municipalities and utilities to safely navigate the scope of work without hindering the communities’ daily operations.

Interior

Removal of carpet in the entryway. Replace with commercial flooring, repair drywall along ceiling, repaint, install new rubber wall base around perimeter.

Remove and replace ceiling tiles in main hall, restrooms, offices and storage room, (3600 sq. ft.).

Remove divider, construct closet.

Remove existing floor tiles in kitchen, main hall, offices, storage room (3600 sq. ft), repair heaves in concrete floor, install commercial flooring, install new rubber wall base around entire building, rebuild commercial doors with new weather strip gaskets and astragal.

Remove existing toilets, stall dividers, wall and flooring tiles. Install new toilets and make final connections to new wall mount sink and sink in kitchen.  Tile bathroom floor and walls, install new stall dividers, commercial toilet paper and paper towel holders, feminine product disposal, ADA grab handles and commercial wall mount sinks.

Remodel kitchen, new double bay sink, stainless steel roll-up door, paint and water proof wallboard.

Install new LED lighting in drop ceiling throughout building, install two ADA compliant door openers in vestibule, 1 smart thermostat in main hall and programmable thermostat in other zones, motion sensor switches in bathroom and offices.

Remove existing window curtain wall and reconstruct with conventional framed wall with standing seam metal siding, double hung windows, double commercial glass door, insulation drywall and paint.

Clean duct-work.

Supply a roll-off container for construction debris removal.

Exterior

Construct new sign posts and board as is currently existing, replace fascia board along exterior of building, replace all of the shutters. Repair/replace missing and broken window screens, replace trim board boxes on posts on parking lot side of the building.

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

The proposal should include a construction schedule and a payment schedule.

DETERMINATION OF AWARD AND RIGHT TO REJECT

Awards shall be made on the basis of the proposal which, in the opinion of the Town, is in the best interest of the Town and any award made will be made to the firm which, in the opinion of the Town, is best qualified. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted and to request additional information from all proposers. 

SUSPENDED UNTIL UPDATED ANALYSIS IS COMPLETE

The Town of Hinsdale, New Hampshire is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to demolish buildings located at 54 Canal Street, old McGoldrick site. Demolition works shall wear protective equipment when on site due to dermal contact with the soils.

Supply demolition workers with protective equipment for dermal control.
